2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS processes the data technically required when the website is accessed on our behalf. This may include, in particular, the IP address, time and destination of the request, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser type and version, operating system and device type.

This processing is necessary to deliver the website, ensure its stability and security, and detect misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, reliable and uninterrupted operation of this website.

According to its product information, IONOS anonymises the visitor data made available to us at the point of collection. Logs that can be linked to an individual are stored only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes. Relevant criteria include technical delivery, the detection and investigation of security incidents, and statutory retention obligations. Once the respective purpose no longer applies, the data is deleted or anonymised.

The existing web hosting contract is subject to the IONOS policy for contracts purchased on or before 17 September 2025. Under this policy, log data made available to the customer is retained for a maximum of eight weeks. According to IONOS, IP addresses in these log files are anonymised.

3. Recipients

IONOS SE receives the technically required data as our hosting provider and processor. A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS SE. We do not transmit personal data through this website to any other recipients or to third countries.

4. Cookies and IONOS WebAnalytics

This website does not set its own cookies and does not use marketing or third-party tracking services. IONOS WebAnalytics is, however, part of the IONOS web hosting service. According to IONOS, the cookieless analysis is based on server logs or a tracking pixel.

The processed data comprises the referrer, requested page or file, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time of access and IP address. IONOS states that the IP address is anonymised immediately after transmission and is subsequently processed without reference to an individual. The data is used solely for statistical analysis and technical optimisation; we do not use it to create personal usage profiles.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is privacy-conscious, aggregated reach measurement and the technical optimisation of the website. The recipient is IONOS SE as hosting provider and processor.

This website contains external links to LinkedIn, FOXBYTE and csi. Only when you deliberately open such a link do you leave this website and establish a direct connection to the relevant provider. No data is transferred from this website to these providers before that point. The respective provider is responsible for any subsequent processing and possible transfers to third countries.

The technical data generated when a page is accessed is provided automatically by your browser; without it, the website cannot be delivered. There is no contractual or statutory obligation to provide this data. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
